"Working as a photographer is the ideal way to combine my areas of interest - architecture, fashion, design and boatbuilding- while accentuating the human dimension of each. Spending days in yards, watching people work with their bare hands to restore life to wooden boats, has been a tremendous learning curve. Photography is an excellent excuse to explore new places and worlds; meet people I would never have met, share their passion and be humbled by the experiences."
